About Us
Our history
Our organization was created out of a desire to improve our youth's future. Prior to attending college, our Founder, Carlos was classified in the “under privileged kid" category.
Attending college changed all of that. In 2012 a community program presented an opportunity for college students to assist with underprivileged youth. After accepting the opportunity - Carlos never looked back and continued his work in the community and beyond.
Our mission
Our Mission is to use athletics as an avenue to assist young adults with identifying strategic methods and routes to higher education in a world of two-way roads.
Elevate Elite’s Vision is to motivate and expose the youth of the local and surrounding communities to a multitude of development skills and positive growth opportunities to assist with self-elevation on and off the court. Our expectation is to meet our youth where they are and equip them with the tools necessary to Elevate. Our Goal is to motivate and provide positive experiences in the lives of all our participants.
Our Team
Our Team is made up of an amazing group, who share one major commonality - to witness our youth Elevate and persevere through all types of adversity.
Coach Lamar, Founder & President is a Certified Change Manager who has mentored, coached and assisted with skill development for over 20 years.
Anthony, a former athlete who has years of experience serving disadvantaged youth through therapeutic mentoring. He has since transitioned his skills into a leadership role in the healthcare recruiting industry.
Coach Sarah, Treasurer was once an aspiring youth schoolteacher is now a prospering nurse saving lives in the hospital, on the court and in the community.
Marcus, Amanuensis is currently a designer with a thorough eye and attention to detail. He serves as a scriber and ensures our program runs efficiently and effectively during events and board meetings.
